As of version 2.3, PLplot is used as the QSAS plot engine, with a few alterations. PLplot is licensed under the LGPL (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.html). The QSAS team would like to thank the PLplot team for the constructive discussions on the plplot-devel mailing list.

The autoconf migration was performed by Janet Barnes who left the QSAS team in
January 2007 to move onto better things in the City.

David Burgess designed the first QSAS and provided the qdos software that
provides the core data handling.

QSAS software development has been supported throughout by the UK Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council
as part of the Cluster Science Centre activities within the UK Cluster Data Centre.

QSAS was originally developed at Queen Mary, London University, and is now based at
Imperial College, London University.
