Titan Science Meeting 2011

 
 

Welcome

A Titan Science Meeting will be held on June 20-23, 2011 at the Abbaye Saint Jacut-de-la-Mer in Brittany, France. 

Purpose of this meeting is to discuss the latest Titan science results from measurements by Cassini/Huygens, ground based observations, laboratory measurements and modeling.

This meeting is in part motivated by the production of the Titan science book for Cambridge University Press (click on “Book” link above for more info). 

We invite the wider Titan Science community to participate in this event and contribute either through talks or posters.


Topics of the meeting

The meeting will discuss the topics Titan Atmosphere, Surface, Interior, Origin, Magnetosphere and Plasma Environment. 


When?

The meeting will formally start Monday morning (June 20) and end Thursday around noon (June 23), but we advise arrival on Sunday (June 19).


Where?

The Meeting will be held at the Abbaye Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer which is located on the Channel coast in Brittany, France. Please click here (or the “Venue” link above) for more details.


Important deadlines

The deadline for Registration, Abstracts and Room reservation is April 17, 2011. Due to limited availability of places (95 rooms) we recommend however that you register and book as soon as possible. Please click on the “Registration” link above to register.
