Cho Oyu 2004

Cho Oyu (8201 m, 28.01N, 86.65E) is the sixth highest mountain in the world. It is only about 20 km to the west of Everest.

For the Autumn 2004 Expedition PhD student Elizabeth Kennett went to take our instrument. She also collected some snow and soil samples for for our microbiology experiment with Wye College. Oh yes and she climbed to the summit ...!!
